2.Notes for JAMES PEARCY: [Pearcy1.FTW] DOnald MacDonald:
Thomas moved to Barrie sometime before 1871. The 1871 census shows him living with W.B. Capon and his family. Mr. Capon, Thomas and a second lodger (John Blackinow) were all painters by trade.
According to the 1891census for Tecumseth township, Simcoe south, John lived on the same farm that his father John had. His father-in-law Samuel Pinkerton lived him him and Eliza. He also seems to have had a servent named Margaret M. Walls.
The 1901 census has a Ellen Walls (24) living with the family as a domstic and what looks like Issac Pinkerton (34), servant. Both are single. John, Samuel, James, and Ella are still living at home.
